What is Macro®-GRIP™?
In many places a very high skid resistant surface is desirable.
Macro®-GRIP™ has high skid resistance and low wear rates.
Macro®-GRIP™ is a mixture of special hard aggregates
and a clear cross linked polymeric binder that may be colored virtually
any color.
The polymer ensures high flexibility, resistance to aging and a
long, long life. Aggregate is held firmly and cannot come out; abrasion
resistance is much higher than for an ordinary chip seal. The binder
is fuel resistant and the seal resists color change.
VSS contracting will apply this for you or the technology may be
transferred in some markets.
What is it used for?
Macro®-GRIP™ - Uses are only limited by the imagination
of the designer. Uses include.

and easy to do. It comes in a two parts that are easily combined.
What does it do?
Macro®-GRIP™ is a true chip seal and will give 10 years
life without significant fading or stone loss and will provide a waterproof
and long lasting surface of high skid resistance. It is not a crack
treatment. Macro®-GRIP TM can be used over hot mix, new or aged,
chip seal, over AR chip seals in a Cape seal or over PCC.
What does it cost?
