DESCRIPTION:
RoadChem™ 1040® is a Nonionic emulsifier for the production of nonionic and anionic slow-setting asphalt emulsions.

BENEFITS:

• Low Use Level: RoadChem™ 1040® is typically effective at use levels between 0.8 and 1.2%
• Super-Stable Emulsions: Emulsion produced with RoadChem™ 1040® show the stability needed for applications such as dense mixes, dust control, mulching and stabilization. Emulsions made with RoadChem™ 1040® may be mixed with cement in recycling and stabilization processes.

STORAGE: RoadChem™ 1040® contains water and stainless steal storage tanks are preferred. Bulk stores should be maintained at 20-35 Deg. C (70-100 Deg F)

RoadChem™ 1040® may cause irritation to skin and eyes. Protective goggles and gloves must be worn when handling this product. For further information consult the Material Safety Data Sheet.

STORAGE LIFE: 12 months minimum (if stored correctly).

PACKAGING: RoadChem™ 1040® is available in bulk shipment or in 55-gallon tight head drums of 450 lbs. (204 kgs) net weight.

RoadChem™ 1040® gives optimum cement mixing around a pH of 9.0. It must first be dissolved in warm water and pH adjusted using Sodium Hydroxide.
