DESCRIPTION:
RoadChem™ AS 1000® is a highly stable antistripping agent for increasing adhesion between asphalt and aggregates. It has been specifically designed for use in the manufacture of high performance emulsions, Cutbacks and hot mix. It may be used in polymer asphalt systems. It is NOT an amine and so is also useful as a bitumen additive.

PHYSICAL PROPERTIES:
Appearance: Clear Amber liquid
Flash point: 266F(150C)
Pour Point: 5C
Specific gravity: 1.06 @ 77F (25C)
Viscosity: pourable@77F(25C)
Storage: Store in a cool dry place,
Storage life: 12 months minimum (if stored correctly).
Packaging: Supplied in steel drums (205 lt) or in bulk.

APPLICATION:
RoadChem™ AS 1® is an organo phosphate ester.

For best results RoadChem™ AS 1® should be added to the asphalt and blended by circulation for 30 minutes before use.

TYPICAL FORMULATION:
All formulations should be tested in the laboratory before use.
For emulsification promotion 0.1-0.3% in bitumen
For antistripping 0.6% AS1000 in asphalt.
